Mark Schwartz Violins is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Torre to our company.
Paul has served as President and CEO of the Flint Institute of Music for several decades. He served as a facilitator to expand and grow the many facets of the FIM. While much of his work was behind the scenes, he was also a teacher of clarinet, flute and saxophone. We are pleased to have such a fine musician in our midst.
Since his retirement from the Flint Institute of Music, Paul has had some extra time on his hands. He has been assisting Craig in the bass room, learning basic luthier skills. He is working with lots of hand tools that are used in the repair and restoration of basses. Paul has completed several labor intensive projects and has become an asset to Burton City Basses and Mark Schwartz Violins. Welcome, Paul!
